WWF-Philippines, also known as Kabang Kalikasan ng Pilipinas (KKP), has been working as a national organization of the WWF network since 1997. The organization's conservation program places strong marine emphasis in the conservation of species and habitats and utilizes highly integrative and participatory approaches to find solutions that work for the environment and for the people that live in and depend on it.
Hamilo Coast has partnered with WWF (World Wide Fund) to develop and implement programs that would conserve, protect and enhance its existing natural environment for long-term environmental and social sustainability. Initially, these include Ecological and Carboon Footprint Management, Coastal Resource Management and Soil Stabilization and Sedimentation Control.
Sandugo Adventure is a complete adventure specialist that provides products and services especially for outdoorsmen.
Hamilo Coast has partnered with Sandugo Adventure to design and develop the eco-adventure facilities within the development. SMIC’s Pico de Loro Cove development in full swing Oct 04, 2007
With the vision of eco-friendly and sustainable residential development and tourism, Pico De Loro Cove, the first of the thirteen coves of Hamilo Coast, the eco-tourism project of SM Investments Corporation in Nasugbu, Batangas, is currently undergoing development. Launched in May 2007, Jacana, the first residential condo cluster of Pico de Loro Cove is 80% sold as of end September 2007. Construction is currently in full swing with target completion of these two buildings with 240 units in the third quarter of 2008.
Following its mid-September 2007 launch, month-end unit sales of Myna, the second residential condo cluster in Pico De Loro Cove, have also been brisk and have reached 30% of total inventory of 240 units.
Scheduled to be launched in November this year is the Pico De Loro Beach & Country Club which will feature three recreational facilities – the Beach Club, the Country Club, and the Outdoor Eco-adventure area.
Paramount Hotels & Facilities Management, Inc. was recently appointed to manage the Pico De Loro Beach & Country Club. Paramount was established in 1997 as the first all-Filipino property management company to introduce internationally accepted hospitality industry standards to the local property market. Paramount specializes in property management, encompassing hotel management, food & beverage operations, and restaurant franchising. Furthermore, the Paramount team also forms the core of Microtel Inns & Suites (Pilipinas) Inc., the Philippine master franchisor of the Microtel Inns & Suites brand.
