Efficient space planning defines Royal Palm Residences’ tandem unit

Interior designer Wilmer Lopez of WLopez Designs has been tapped by DMCI Homes to come up with an effective interior design for Royal Palm Residences’ model units, which can now be glimpsed at the Township Central Info Center showroom.  Here, homebuyers can see the big difference a tandem unit can offer in terms of generous space, for an upgraded lifestyle with plenty of possibilities.

100 sqm. of Eastern Glamour

Inspired by the Thai tropical resort theme of the development, Lopez pursued an Asian direction for the overall concept of the 100 sqm tandem unit of Royal Palm Residences, specifically highlighting “Eastern glamour.”  This was based on the personification of the project’s target market – young, upwardly mobile families who are exposed to global trends and can appreciate finer luxuries. 

With such lifestyle comes the demand for a conducive home offering breathing space and flexibility.  Lopez achieves this with the expansive dimensions of the 100 sqm unit, which can accommodate a total of three bedrooms, apart from a fourth bedroom which can be used either as storage space or maid’s room. 

The master’s bedroom is dubbed as a modern resort enclave, its lavishness enhanced with rich choice of silk for fabrics and the use of earth colors.  Symmetrical placement of furniture achieves balance and harmony, while the addition of antique mementos gives character to the room. It also offers such luxurious possibilities as a space to have its own toilet and bath. 

Space advantages further flow to the rest of the living areas, which has enough space to contain a separate nook for a study/work area.  The living room was designed for entertainment where guests can feel relaxed through roomy and contemporary seating areas.  There’s no need to go outside to entertain guests, because they can all fit right in here for a private and intimate visit. 

The dining area is big enough to host up to eight guests, and with style at that. It's showpiece area composed of two host chairs inspired by a Chinese opium chair in eggplant shade. The rest of the chairs are  upholstered  in silk,  while a long Vietnamese  tray  on top  completes  the  casual  dining experience.

The kitchen meanwhile offers a bar that can double as a preparation area aside from the countertop.  That gives the kitchen a versatile function, perfect for fluid mobility as the host cooks up sumptuous cuisine for the family and their guests, then a cocktail bar for the rest of the night as it unfolds in a laidback pace.

An emerging residential community composed of eight medium-rise and two high-rise structures on a 4-hectare property, ROyal Palm Residence is another prime development from DMCI Homes.
